Dr. Duggan's career has been defined by countless international and domestic volunteer hours (+/- 30,000 hours), beginning in medical school and increasing dramatically after completing training. He founded HCVI in 2014 and has been acting CEO and Medical Director of HCVI since inception. Health Care Volunteers International is a multifaceted, multinational, humanitarian organization dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of underserved individuals around the globe. HCVI donates medications, equipment, and supplies, provides direct patient care, and completes projects valued at $3-5+ Million USD annually.
TRILOGY HEALTH COMMITS A MINIMUM OF 5% OF ANNUAL GROSS REVENUES to support Health Care Volunteers International and its important, often life-saving work around the world.

The State of the Environment is a Major Health Concern
At TRILOGY HEALTH, we believe every organization and company must meaningfully be guided and commit to sustainable practices in all that they do. We lead by example, seeking innovative solutions even if this is at a greater cost.
Poor health of the planet = poor health for its inhabitants.
Reduce-Reuse-Recycle guides and impacts all of our decision-making and workflows. We partner and purchase from companies who share a similar commitment to sustainability. We are a digital, paperless practice and we recycle all cardboard and paper products that enter our workstreams. It is impossible to eliminate plastics and paper in medicine, but we limit these items as much as possible and purchase biodegradable and post-consumer recycled products whenever possible.

- Climate-pledge-friendly, plant-based cleaning and disinfecting products
- No plastic water bottles (EVER!!!) - we have filtered municipal water and use eco-friendly Kraft paper cups (https://refinepackaging.com/blog/what-is-kraft-paper/)
- Washable patient gowns, drapes, and absorbent under-pads
- All staff wear surgical scrubs manufactured by either Welles (https://livewelles.com/) or Uniform Advantage Resurge (https://www.uniformadvantage.com/resurge) made of 100% recycled polyester (from captured ocean-bound plastics), plus recycled trims and zippers. There are approximately 35 recycled plastic bottles that go into each pair of scrubs (top+pants) rather than into the ocean

Community Engagement
Contributing to the Health of Our Community
TRILOGY HEALTH works with the local school systems, volunteering regularly to participate in the health education of our children.
We embrace our role as health educators and take this responsibility seriously.
We also engage in community-based lectures, education, and training. With an aging population, we have a particular interest in senior living initiatives and helping to keep these essential members of our community leading active and healthy lives.
